I found out the one I love has finally found his girl.
I had my heart set on him for a while,
But we are so different, so far away from each other.
I know I can never have him, but still, I can't stop loving you.
My mind doesn't care, but my heart does,
A burning pain deep within my chest.
I may not feel it, but I know it's there.
And it may take a while to fade,
May take days, weeks or more.
But, isn't it nice to see the one you care about most
Happy?
I'm in a deep, dark pit that takes a lot of effort to get out of,
But I cannot muster the strength for I have been beaten down.
And so I am left to lie in this pit, waiting for my heart to heal.
And yet, I can't stop loving you, my dear.

Funny story how I ended up writing this really. It all started one night when I was just chilling out on my laptop, and my friend from school needed a virtual shoulder to cry on. She ranted to me about finding out that her fav YouTuber, Cry, has a girlfriend. She said she's happy for him, but she also feels this internal pain by just knowing he has a girlfriend. Her on the inside => ಥ^ಥ
I said to her that I knew exactly what she was feeling, and she asked me to explain.
So, I then explained to her in a poetic manner that perfectly describes what she was feeling. And then we talked some more and she wrote some deep shit as well, and then everything fitted together so perfectly, so I copy pasted some of our conversation from G+ hangouts and added a few more words of my own, and I ended up sewing together this! The Heartbreak song poem~
And it all started from my friend being heartbroken! How ironic~
My friend and I were so proud of ourselves for creating this magnificent masterpiece! (well I did most of the work and she just edited and provided some of the parts) We just need to write a few more stanzas and add music, and it would make an awesome song! We will go far in the music industry. XD
